October 26 - Connie's Mystery Driving Tour
Our overnight drive to Tulsa was canceled. Connie put together a Mystery Driving Tour and Lunch stop for us instead. We embarked on a 25-mile journey around a portion of South Oklahoma City. We were given a handout with written directions and sent off at timed increments to prevent us following from just each other. This drive took most of us through unfamiliar areas. We went past the Stockyards, OKC Farmers Market, Centennial Land Run Monument, First American Museum, Capital Hill High School, Mount St. Mary’s High School, Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine, and finishing off of course with lunch at Dan’s Ole Time Diner. We all had a good time with very few switchbacks.
